Before I enter my design idea do we only get to enter one idea? If so I want to make sure it is exactly how I want it to be? Does it need to be totally designed by us or can we give you an inspiration? I am so excited to get my tutu in the mail. Thanks so so much.

You may enter two different designs... either inspirations or your own ideas of the PERFECT tutu or tutu dress design... Thanks!

For the dress design, I thought that it would be so cute to have a dress that was lily inspired. I love lilies. They are beautiful. I think that a dress with celedon green, and purple, and white tulle would be beautiful. I was thinking that different lengthed layered tool that had been cut in the shape of a lilie petal would really add to the effect of looking like a lily. Then for the chest area having silk stargazer lilies and a silk pale purple orchids. This would be perfect for Easter, spring, or a spring wedding. I don't know if I described it well enough, but I know that you could make it beautifully.

As for a tutu design. I was thinking camp colors. Something that my little girl could wear to her older brothers scouting events or even if I got her into brownies. So colors of burnt orange, that hunter type green, and the grey like blue, and browns. This would be fun for scouting daycamps that she might tag along to or even camping trips or backyard campouts.

Your designs are gorgeous! Something to be very proud of. I would love to see a 4th of July themed tutu dress that looks like a firework. I imagine a few different length ribbons flowing down from the top where it's gathered, a red/white/blue/silver color theme, maybe a corker ribbon burst or two at the chest where the halter ribbon meets the tulle.

I bet it will be hard to pick your winner, you already have several beautiful ideas!

Ooo great idea!

I think a tutu dress done all up like a tuxedo in black and white! Maybe a white bodice with a black flower (or vice versa) with lots of flowy ribbons, you can accessorize to match an occasion or play with color flowers in the hair, or color ballet flats!

As for a tutu, a white with red or pink vertical ribbon stripes would be cute... like a peppermint candy! So sweet!

Hi I just wanted to tell you I love your dresses! You're very talented. I also want to give my idea of a dress...I hope it makes sense, here goes...

I was thinking a corset, where it either ties up with ribbon in a zig zag like old corsets or is just fitted like a corset probably spagetti straps and then the bottom is really puffy like when you make a normal tutu. I hope that made some sense. Any questions feel free to email me at kez518@gmail.com thanks!

Before I share my designs let me tell you that you already have some great and beautiful designs.

For a dress design I would love to see a hawaiian styled dress. For the top a halter top look from hawaiian printed fabric with the grass skirt being the green tulle. Maybe some pretty habiscus flowers around the waist area.

As for a tutu I would love to see an alphabet soup tutu. Reds and Oranges with letters sewn into the tutu.

Lisa and I must've been on the same wavelength-I was also thinking of a 4th of July tutu dress; A dark blue halter with lots of red and white tulle. The tulle could also have silver stars stuffed at the bottom (kinda like what you do with the flower petals). The head piece could be a combination of stars with corker like ribbons of red, white, and blue. My tutu idea may sound silly but I was looking at your site with a friend of mine who said she'd love to have a tutu like the ones you make for her dog!! Might be the start of a new line!!?? Something with little cats or bones would be kinda cute!

What a fun idea!

My idea for an ideal tutu dress soft rainbow colors. Light pinks, blues, yellows, purples. Make a little girl feel like a cotton candy princess!

Another idea I'd love to see is a minnie mouse one. My grandma is in love with Mickey Mouse and is always telling me I need to get my daughter a costume, but I don't want any costume, I want a snazzy tutu one! Red & black with maybe a tail? Too cute!

I think it would be stunning to see a tutu dress with bright peacock colors, embellished with ribbon and real peacock feathers and rhinestones that match all of the beautiful colors- turqouise, teal, green, etc.

And it would be so fun to have a headband that matched and was studded with peacock feathers and rhinestones as well. Something fancy shmancy yet playful and sunny all at the same time.

Could you imagine a swan princess tutu? I could imagine a white tutu with shades of light gray and silvery undertones, adorned with white feathers, sparkling rhinestones and little flashes of brilliant shimmery ribbon. Gorgeous!
